Native plants: in the garden and in the wild

Calling a plant “native” requires consideration of both time and place. In this presentation, learn about Oregon’s native plants—along with naturalized and exotic species—from the perspective of the Oregon Flora Project. We will consider the context from which native garden plants arise, and how they can be used in cultivated settings of gardens and landscapes. Hear updates on the latest resources about our state’s plants that are available from the OFP.

Copies of Volume 1 of the Flora of Oregon will be available for purchase ($75).
